Digital Art

Ages 9-High School | Offered at all campuses

Every artist tells a story.

Digital Art class blends real art fundamentals with modern digital creation. Students build a strong foundation in artistic design, animal structure, perspective, lighting, composition, and color theory—then apply it through character design, environment art, and visual storytelling. The year culminates in a student-created graphic novel and an original 2D animated short, taking ideas from sketch to polished, shareable work.

What materials do I need for class?

Kilroy's uses a locked tech system with a firewall so that all online activity can be monitored. Instructors must grant permission from their teaching station to unlock a new website or app - otherwise, everything is locked except the apps/functions needed. They also receive an activity report on each student.

Our cell phone policy is still in effect in this class.

How do you keep students safe on screens?
